50,000 people worldwide are thought to have joined the Islamic State and other militant groups between 2011 and 2016.
Some parents brought their children to Syria, others had them inside the caliphate.
Today, these children are living in appalling conditions in the Syrian refugee camps of al-Hol and Roj. At least 600 of them are European.
