UNA-UK celebrates UN Day 2019

United Nations Association UK celebrated UN Day 2019 by presenting Andrew Gilmour, Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights, with the Sir Brian Urquhart Award for Distinguished Service to the United Nations. Next year will mark the UN’s 75th anniversary.

The event was hosted in London by Bottletop, a sustainable fashion brand which recently launched #TOGETHERBAND, a global movement to rally support for the UN’s 17 Global Goals, agreed upon in 2015 in order to build a better world.
