Journalist kidnapped by Al Qaeda in Syria and Jailed In Turkey Speaks Up

Award winning American journalist Lindsey Snell had been living in Turkey before Al Nusra Front, Al Qaeda’s former affiliate in Syria kidnapped her in 2016 while reporting in Syria. Upon escaping her captors who held her in a cave prison she returned to Turkey and was jailed and accused of being a CIA agent. She recounts her dilemma and talks about how Turkey uses US citizens as bargaining chips for political gains as Turkey continues to pursue her.
