Italian NGO attacked by the infodemic of fake news while working to save lives

Italy has not only been devastated by the outbreak of COVID-19, but it’s NGOs have faced an infodemic, that of the spread of misinformation. Rossella Miccio, President of the NGO Emergency, which provides medical and surgical care to victims of war, anti-personnel mines and poverty, explains the work that they are doing to support the country during this emergency as well as the most vulnerable people.
