• Mr. Muratcan Sabuncu, president of the Sorbonne Human Rights Association and son of jailed editor-in-chief Murat Sabuncu of Cumhuriyet newspaper
• Mrs. Yonca Verdioğlu, feminist activist for human rights and wife of imprisoned journalist Ahmed Sik
• Mr. Ernest Sagaga is Head of Human Rights and Safety at the International Federation of Journalists. He was the first official spokesperson of the International Criminal Court in the Hague. He previously worked as a journalist for the BBC World Service in London and is a regular commentator on press freedom issues in international media.
