Nury Turkel on China’s repression of Uyghurs

Uyghur American Attorney and activist, Nury Turkel, has been nominated one of the 100 most influential people of 2020 by TIME. Last year, IOHR TV interviewed him at the Oslo Freedom Forum. Born in a prison cell during the Cultural Revolution in China, Mr. Turkel believes history is now repeating itself. Over 1 million Uyghurs are currently detained in internment camps in the Chinese region of Xinjiang.
