Human Resources of Non-State Armed Groups”, discusses her frontline research of women and children trapped in Syrian refugee camps. Ms Mironova challenges the misconception that these camps are filled with radical sympathisers of the so-called Islamic State group and explores the relationship between this flawed perception and the repatriation efforts of national governments.
