‘Helping Hands’ inside the refugee camps of Iraqi Kurdistan

In the desert of Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdistan, IOHR is given access to the refugee camps with The Kurdi Foundation to deliver nearly 800 uniforms to encourage Syrian refugee children to go to school. The donation falls under IOHR’s ‘Helping Hands’ fund and comes on the third anniversary of the drowning of Alan Kurdi in the Mediterranean while trying to flee war-torn Syria.
