Dr. Ahmadreza Djalali pleads for support as he faces the death sentence

In a rare audio interview from prison, Iranian-Swedish scientist Dr. Ahmadreza Djalali calls on the Swedish government to intervene to help free him after he was unjustly arrested in 2016 and accused of baseless espionage charges. Dr. Djalali’s health has deteriorated immensely and he was sentenced to death for a crime he has not committed. He was granted the Swedish citizenship in 2018.
